Rewas n

Rewa’s Got Talent was a special isolation event held over social media (Instagram and Facebook) that ran from April 7th to May 9th, with the judging process happening over the course of May and the Overall Winner being announced on June 9th. It put out a casting call to any and all talented youth in the Manurewa area with the aim of bringing people together in spirit during the nation’s isolation. Originally we had planned this for normal circumstances, but because of the world situation we reworked the idea and pushed forward. The intentions behind continuing with this event were to give youth the opportunity to channel their creativity in a new way, as well as gave them a way to occupy some of their newly found free time. We connected with over 15 applicants and received an immense amount of interaction with our social media profiles. The Overall Winner took away a Prize Pack valued at $500, with our Category Winners taking away prizes valued at $60 approx.
